The Tops
A windbreakers-that distinctive swish sound you made while walking around with one of these bright colored babies was annoying to some and the envy of others. Grab a windbreaker in your favorite neon hues and put it with black leggings-the demure shades with the bright pops will complement one another.
Patched Denim Jackets-No doubt you’ve seen patched clothing items all over the place-everything from jean shorts all the way up to purses have featured patches lately. And it’s no wonder-patches are so 90’s and fun to wear. Formerly the stuff of punk rockers showing their love for their favorite bands, now you can get in on the trend with many styles of denim patched jackets available now.
Tube Tops– Usually seen with baggy, oversized pants, we can’t help but remember the days of wearing tube tops. They were super easy to put on and went best with bellybutton rings and oversized necklaces… or bucket hats. (See above!)
Tie-dye– Tie-dye is one of those things that never really died with the 60’s, but we saw a serious resurgence of it in the 90’s. It was everywhere and totally cool (and groovy) to wear again!
Halter tops-Remember those fun tops we had that tied in the back and showed just enough of our belly, but not enough to make your mom go crazy? They’re part of the current wardrobe-and more fun than ever to wear.
